Perhaps you can see yourself in this story because Jesus has called you out of our broken world so that you can go back into it to bring about positive change. One particular area to focus on is your oikos—the relational world that God has placed in your life.

Renewing our minds is both a spiritual command and a biological possibility. Since we can’t always trust our mind and inner voice, it’s important to be consistent in planting Scripture in our mind, as the Word reflects the person of God, who we know to be eternal, holy, and trustworthy.
