Facilities Lead Technician

Our Facilities Team ensures the buildings, grounds, locations, and resources of Hill Country are safe, beautiful, operating effectively, and that they provide warm and inviting opportunities for people to gather, learn, grow, worship, and experience the love of Jesus.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced technician to provide facilities and grounds maintenance (repair, timely response to Work Orders, excellent customer service) and provide skilled assistance in ongoing mechanical, plumbing, electrical and HVAC needs. They will encourage and mentor paid and volunteer technicians in the successful execution of facilities and grounds-related projects and must be committed to growth and leadership development as they build trust and take on more responsibilities within the team.

Candidates should have at least 4 years’ facility-related professional experience (construction, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting), with a strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. All staff must be owners of our mission and vision, committed Christ followers, and able to come alongside people to help them take next steps in their spiritual journey.

Student Ministry Director - Lakeline

We are looking for a strong relational leader to join our Student Ministry Staff Team. This person should be passionate about seeing middle and high school students come to know and follow Jesus, excited to help families experience life change, and committed to partnering with parents to disciple their students. They will serve on our overall Student Team while leading the focus to ensure that Student Ministry is thriving at our Lakeline Location.

This person will shepherd and connect with students, lead ongoing ministry and special events, teach and train across generations, encourage and equip parents, and engage and develop volunteers to prepare each student’s future through Faith, Friends, and Family. They will champion Student Ministry at our Lakeline Location while working closely with our entire Student Staff Team (under our Lead Student Ministry Director), developing a strong team of volunteer and servant leaders, and collaborating across the organization to engage generations.

Strong candidates will have a passion for Student Ministry, ability to build relationships and trust with students and parents, proven experience to grow a ministry, ability to teach, train, and disciple people, and at least 5 years of relevant church or ministry experience (large church preferred, but not a requirement). Connections Ministry Admin Coordinator

Our Connections Ministry (CM) provides warm and welcoming environments for guests and attenders to connect with God and others every time we gather. We are looking for someone to engage and empower volunteers and servant leaders for all areas of Connections Ministry and specifically at the Leander Location (including greeters, ushers, welcome centers, Discover Hill Country, etc.) and to provide administrative support to the Lead Director of the ministry and to CM as a whole.

The ideal candidate should be a mature follower of Christ who is aligned with the mission, vision, values, core beliefs, and priorities of the church. They should also have organizational strengths (3+ years’ administrative experience), strong people skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and an aptitude to learn, grow, and serve.

We are looking for a team player to provide quality childcare services for our weekday ministry events. This is a paid position and the ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about pouring into children and partnering with the Children’s Ministry foundation of Faith, Family, and Fun.

This person who serves in this role will interact and actively engage with children by reading and teaching the curriculum provided by Hill Country Bible Church. This person will work closely with the Childcare Coordinator and the Childcare Team Leaders each week. We truly believe our commitment to pour into the younger generation begins by partnering with families to teach children the truth about God in ways that are fun, safe, and engaging.

Summer Intern Opportunities

Community Impact Summer Interns

The Community Impact ministry at Hill Country Bible Church will be hiring four interns to join us in a joint internship primarily serving at risk children, youth, and families at Mission: Possible! Austin in East Austin and experience serving with 10 nonprofits at the Christian Resource Center in Cedar Park.

This internship will foster continued spiritual development in the interns through time in the word and a supportive biblical community of people and tie that to practical application as we seek to incarnate the word through learning and delivering ministry and discipling ministry participants.  Approximately 20% of your time will be personal spiritual discovery and development, 30% training in ministry philosophy, planning and delivery and 50% of your time in actual ministry delivery.
