Have you considered that giving increases your faith and trust in God?  Think about it this way: Everything we have belongs to God, He really does love us, and that generosity leads to blessings from Him.

As we  read in Scripture, God say He is our provider. And with that provision, He says to provide for your family, the poor, and the local church.   

Scriptures, throughout the Bible, command us to be generous to the poor, saying that those who oppress the poor insult God, while those who are generous honor Him.  And we are both able and equipped to be generous because God gives generously and freely to us. Consider how you can align your heart with God’s in the way you respond to the poor.   

Do you genuinely believe God is good and generous in His provision for you, or do you quietly assume He’s either disappointed or controlling about your finances? Wherever you land on this, the Bible tells us that God is generous and a provider; therefore, we can be generous. 

If you’re willing to follow, God will guide you in the expansion of the Gospel, which at times may lead to a redirect in your life.  This will build resilience of your faith even in the face of diversity.  And, as you see in Acts 16, you never know the influence and impact you may have on another person.

In 1 Corinthians 6:7, Paul says it’s better to be wronged than to cause division in the church. While this response might not be easy, it’s certainly Christlike. And this reaction can actually lead to healing and peace in relationships.

We explore how truth—objective, grounded, and spoken with care—is essential to building meaningful relationships in a culture shaped by spin and self-preservation. As followers of Jesus, we speak truth with love, receive it with humility, and model the integrity found in His character. In a world where honesty often gives way to impulse or bias, we become people who reflect the truth of God for the sake of a stronger "we."

We are the most isolated generation of Americans to live, which is not how God intended us to do life.  So today, we’ll take a look at one way that can change how we live — selflessness. The act of being selfless builds; it doesn’t diminish.  And it actually fosters empathy for others, and more awareness of Jesus.  

On Easter, we celebrate God’s greatest gift to us — His son Jesus — and we rejoice in Jesus’ resurrection. Jesus rising from the grave changed everything for us, offering us hope, grace, love, forgiveness, and eternal life.

Jesus endured many trials to both establish His innocence and legitimize our forgiveness. This week, we were encouraged to accept Jesus’ forgiveness because left alone guilt can negatively impact our well-being and our life.  And that’s not how God wants us to live.
