This week, we look at some common spiritual questions that both Christians and non-believers ponder around tithing, free choice versus predestiny, and even hell.  

We all wrestle with questions, such those around spiritual disciplines, salvation, and suffering. In this message, we look at questions around these topics and offer some perspective from a biblical standpoint.

On Easter, we celebrate God’s gift to us — His son Jesus — and we rejoice in Jesus’ resurrection. Jesus rising from the grave changed everything for us, giving us hope, grace, love, and eternal life.  

On Good Friday, we remember and reflect on God's gift to us all — His son, who was crucified on the cross for our sins.

In this life, we’ll all experience pain and suffering. While suffering can be difficult to understand, it always has a purpose because God’s sovereign over it. Since it’s inevitable, consider how you can use your suffering to receive God’s comfort, comfort others, and grow close to Jesus.

God has entrusted each of us with unique talents. Every talent includes a responsibility from God, profitability for God, and accountability to God. We must use our talents or lose them. 

Do you have stress or anxiety when you think about your money? Do you think about where you spend your money and what that says about your heart? Consider allowing Jesus to speak into your financial life and growing past any anxiety you have over finances.

While God’s truth is always the same, the way that people respond differs.  One reason this is true is because the truth is the same every time, but the soil is different.  Consider how you react to God’s truth and His call on your life.

What if time is a gift from God? Do you ever think about how God wants you to spend your time? Consider what stewarding your time wisely means and how that might impact your life and the lives of those around you.

Do you think it’s possible that God’s calling you to move more of your life from your responsibility to His responsibility? Consider that God wants you “all in” with your life. And He will give you clarity when you seek and work to hear Him.
