As you may already know, Great Adventure is a summer filled with activities for every age and life stage!

We also have GO trips happening all summer!
Go Trips (for students and adults)
Our mission trip teams will launch this summer to BLESS the nations. Teams will focus on building relationships, demonstrating Christ's love, and proclaiming the Good News of Jesus through welcoming refugee and international families, teaching English, hosting Bible clubs, serving our mission partners, and initiating Gospel conversations. For Students (Grade 4-12)
Boot Camp
- Who – incoming 8th grade-graduated seniors
- What – Students spend their time during the day training to lead Back Yard Bible Clubs and then go out to lead BYBCs in the evening throughout South and Central Austin (along the I-35 corridor). Students will come back together after BYBCs for a time of large group worship and teaching.
- When – Dates: June 25-30, Time: TBD (may be overnight)
- Where – TBD

Xtreme Adventure
- Who – incoming 5th-7th graders
- What – Students will enjoy a fun-filled, high energy morning of wild games, competition, worship, and small groups as they grow in relationship with one another, their leaders, and most importantly Jesus!
- When – Dates: July 10-14th, Time: 9am-12pm
- Where – Lakeline
- Cost – $50
Monitors student activities throughout the day. Walks hallways, monitors rooms while teams practice, etc. Can also drive and serve in other roles.

For Adults
Boot Camp
- Title of Role – Boot Camp Servant Leader
- Who – 18+
- What – Opportunity for a few different roles including a chaperone: monitoring student activity throughout the day. Walks hallways and monitors rooms while teams practice for BYBCs, snacks team: organizes and distributes snacks to teams to hand out during BYBCs, and check-in team: checks students in on the first day of Boot Camp to help with flow and organization of teams
- When – June 25th-30th, (times TBD depending on location of Boot Camp)
- Where – TBD
- Why – Each of these roles is vital to our students having a great experience at Boot Camp and our student teams being prepared to go out to their clubs! There are shepherding opportunities in each of these roles, as you have the opportunity to hear how clubs are going and pray over students and the kids they are impacting.
Xtreme Adventure
- Title of Role – Boot Camp Servant Leader
- Who – 18+
- What – Opportunity for a few different roles including a chaperone: monitoring student activity throughout the day. Walks hallways and monitors rooms while small groups occur, snacks team: organizes and distributes snacks to kids during break time, and check-in team: checks students in on the first day each morning to help with flow and organization of teams, game team: sets up and puts on games during our large group games
- When – July 10th-14th
- Where – Lakeline
- Why – Each of these roles is vital to our students having a great experience at XA! There are opportunities to connect and engage with students throughout the week in each of these roles, which provides a chance to develop a relationship with them that has lasting impact.
Team Driver
- Who: Adults 18 years or older with a vehicle to transport students
- What: Drivers are responsible for getting teams of students (7th-12th grade) to their clubs as we saturate greater Austin with the love of Jesus. They get the opportunity to encourage, support, and pray over the team of students. It is a great opportunity to work with our students, but also to get to BLESS other families as you arrive at the clubs.
- Where: Drivers meet at one of our locations to meet their teams, then drive out to a club in the greater Austin area.
- When: Clubs take place from July 10-13. If you drive in the morning, you are serving from 9 am –12 pm. If you drive in the evening, you serve from 5:30-8:30 pm
Bible Club Host Home
Hill Country adults and families will host Bible Clubs for kids (K - completed 3rd grade) in their neighborhoods and yards to have fun and learn about Jesus. Teams of students will lead these clubs each morning and evening, using games, skits, and songs to share the good news of Jesus Christ throughout our community. Adults can also drive these student teams!

Summer Fest
Create a fun-filled and welcoming festival environment on each of the Hill Country Bible Church locations to share the love of Jesus with all our guests who attended Backyard Bible Club and Extreme Adventure!
Serve as an individual or with your family and friends to help with greeting, games, booths, food sales, set-up and clean-up.
Join us from 6:30pm-9pm!

Special Needs Family Camp
- Who: Grade school children (with parents serving alongside them) through adults can serve at Special Needs Family Camp.
- What: When you serve at Special Needs Family Camp, you have the opportunity to impact the whole family, those with special needs, their parent/caregiver, and their siblings. There are opportunities to serve through story-telling, working with the parents, worship, and more! After completing the form below, a leader will reach out to you to finalize serving details
- Where: Special Needs Family Camp will take place at our Lakeline Location.
- When: Family Camp is from July 10-13, from 5:30 –7:00 pm. Serving times will vary depending on the roll.
Special Needs Family Camp
Family Camp is a place where special needs families will experience the love of Jesus through creative storytelling, music, games and more. We are excited to host three camps at one time: Special Needs Camp, Parent/Caretaker Camp, and Sibling/Friend Camp! All ages welcomed.

Everyone, from all our locations, is invited to join us as we pray for all aspects of the Great Adventure including Global Outreach Mission Trips, Boot Camp, Backyard Bible Clubs, Xtreme Adventure, and Summerfest. We will have a prayer guide coming soon!
