Student Ministry Director

Our Student Ministry Director will provide high-level leadership to the overall Student Ministry (High School and Middle School) across all locations of HCBC. They will invest in student’s present and prepare their future through, Faith, Friends, and Family. They will partner with parents and lead the Student Ministry Team (staff and servant leaders) to identify and develop each student’s extraordinary potential to follow Jesus, impact others, and live with purpose.

We know the home is the rich, vital soil for a student’s faith to grow and flourish; therefore, we partner with parents by emphasizing:

  • Faith: knowing and following Jesus (Colossians 1:28-29, 1 Timothy 4:12, Psalm 119:105).
  • Friends: surrounding with Christ-centered, supportive relationships for seasons and for a lifetime (Proverbs 19:20; Galatians 6:1-2; 1 Thessalonians 5:11; Hebrews 3:13; Hebrews 10:24).
  • Family: partnering with parents (Deuteronomy 6:4-9).

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ full-time Student Ministry experience and passion for student’s spiritual growth. Job Description

Communications Director

Our Communications Director will lead the overall marketing and communications strategies, partner with each Hill Country ministry, and champion and celebrate life-transformation across multiple platforms. They will effectively manage the Communications Team and shepherd and develop people (empowering Staff and Servant Leaders) as owners of the mission and vision of Hill Country.

Their primary focus is to ensure alignment and advancement of the Communications Ministry Plan and Purpose to “effectively communicate to our community, our congregation across all locations, and beyond about the life-change experienced through a relationship with Jesus Christ.”

This person will also:

  • Ensure high quality and high-impact communications to reach both internal and external audiences
  • Establish positive brand awareness; create and implement an engaging digital marketing plan; evaluate metrics to measure success/impact
  • Collaborate with Worship, Production, and Connection ministries to support weekend services and special events with:
    • Creative support and collateral
    • Aligned messaging
    • Thoughtful wayfinding
    • A warm and welcoming environment across all locations

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ leadership experience in communications (preference for Director-level experience), a BA (or similar) degree in a relevant field, gifts of strategy, integration and innovation, and be a mature Christ follower who sees themselves as an owner of the mission, vision and values of Hill Country. Graphic Designer

We are looking for a compelling and creative Graphic Designer who is passionate about all aspects of design, photography, brand, digital communications, and social media. This person should be a mature and growing follower of Christ who is excited about joining the mission and vision of Hill Country Bible Church.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years’ experience designing for print and digital media, with the ability to work in a team environment on multiple projects at once. Proficiencies in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Word, along with photography and social media skills are a must.

Live Video Director

We are looking for an experienced broadcast professional and mature follower of Christ who understands multicamera systems and live video directing in the context of a large church. They will be responsible for high quality live video production of all services, special events and church-wide ministry – from what is experienced in the room/auditoriums/worship services “live” as well as what is broadcast online or captured for other content delivery.

This person will work closely with the Production Director, Communication Director, Worship Pastor and other key leaders (staff and volunteer) to align on-going strategies for IMAG, streaming, and live video to the mission, vision, values and brand of Hill Country. They are responsible to recruit, train and empower volunteer servant leaders across locations to become engaged and competent in various production roles.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of Live Video Directing experience with multi-camera systems at a large church (or similar context). Custodial Night Shift 

We are looking for a custodian to serve on the Facilities Department Team of Hill Country Bible Church. This person will work the night shift and Sunday mornings – cleaning and maintaining the buildings at our Lakeline Campus to ensure they are safe, functional and beautiful.

This person should have experience in a custodial or facilities related field (commercial cleaning experience preferred), able to properly operate buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, etc., with the understanding of safe use of chemicals and cleaning products. They will need to be able to lift up to 25 lbs., walk large amounts of the property, operate heavy equipment and have demonstrated the ability to proactively self-direct  their work.
