Student Ministry Discipleship and Small Group Director

We know that the home is the rich soil for a student’s faith to grow, therefore, we partner with parents by emphasizing Faith, Family, and Friends.

Our Student Ministry Discipleship and Small Groups Director will work closely with the Student Ministry Staff Team and Lay Leaders to provide a thriving High School and Middle School ministry across all locations. This person will lead the Discipleship pathway in Student Ministry – partnering with students, parents, lay leaders, and staff across locations (shepherding, developing, and empowering them). They will also ensure healthy Small Groups are engaging students and encouraging community that rallies around them.   

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ full-time Student Ministry experience (or strong lay leadership experience in the context of a similarly minded local church) and passion for student’s spiritual growth. Communications Director

Our Communications Director will lead the overall marketing and communications strategies, partner with each Hill Country ministry, and champion and celebrate life-transformation across multiple platforms. They will effectively manage the Communications Team and shepherd and develop people (empowering Staff and Servant Leaders) as owners of the Mission and Vision of Hill Country.

Their primary focus is to “effectively communicate to our community, our congregation across all locations, and beyond about the life-change experienced through a relationship with Jesus Christ.”

This person will also:

  • Ensure high quality and high-impact communications to reach both internal and external audiences
  • Establish positive brand awareness; create and implement an engaging digital marketing plan; evaluate metrics to measure success/impact
  • Collaborate with Worship, Production, and Connection’s ministries to support weekend services and special events with:
    • Creative support and collateral
    • Aligned messaging
    • Thoughtful wayfinding
    • A warm and welcoming environment across all locations

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ leadership experience in communications, a BA (or similar) degree in a relevant field, gifts of strategy, integration and innovation, and be a mature Christ follower who sees themselves as an owner of the mission, vision and values of Hill Country. We are committed to preparing a student’s future through faith, family, and friends. Our Student Ministry Admin Coordinator will leverage organizational and relational gifts to serve students, empower volunteers, connect with parents, provide detail oversight for ongoing ministry and special events, and to administratively support our Student Ministry staff and servant leadership across locations.

We are looking for a compelling and creative Graphic Designer who is passionate about all aspects of design, photography, brand, digital communications, and social media. This person should be a mature and growing follower of Christ who is excited about joining the mission and vision of Hill Country Bible Church.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years’ experience designing for print and digital media, with the ability to work in a team environment on multiple projects at once. Facilities Technician

We are looking for a skilled technician to serve on our Facilities Team in order to support safe, functional and beautiful campuses/grounds where people can experience the love of Jesus - gathering for worship, learning, discipleship and community building.

This person will support the facility-related needs for Sunday worship services and special events (multiple venues), ongoing ministry (setting up rooms, signage, etc.), responding to work orders and maintenance needs, and engaging with volunteers – helping them use their skills/gifts for kingdom impact.

We desire a mature Christ follower who is conscience and self-motived. The ideal employee will have experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), trouble shooting and repair. They should be able to safely operate power and hand tools, professional vacuums, outdoor powered equipment, and more.

Custodial Night Shift 

We are looking for a custodian to serve on the Facilities Department Team. This person will work the night shift and Sunday mornings – cleaning and maintaining the buildings at our Lakeline locatiion to ensure they are safe, functional and beautiful.

This person should have experience in a custodial or facilities related field (commercial cleaning experience preferred), able to properly operate buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, etc., with the understanding of safe use of chemicals and cleaning products. They will need to be able to lift up to 25 lbs., walk large amounts of the property, operate heavy equipment and have demonstrated the ability to proactively self-direct  their work. Child Care Worker

We are looking for a team player to provide quality childcare services for our weekday ministry events. This is a paid position and the ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about pouring into children and partnering with Children’s Ministry foundation of Faith, Family and Fun.

This person who serves in this role will interact and actively engage with children by reading and teaching the curriculum provided by Hill Country Bible Church. This person will work closely with the Childcare Coordinator and the Childcare Team Leaders each week. We truly believe our commitment to pour into the younger generation begins by partnering with families to teach children the truth about God in ways that are fun, safe and engaging.
