Children’s Director

We are looking for a highly relational and experienced individual to lead our vibrant Children’s Ministry – building a child’s foundation through Faith, Family and Fun. This person will manage our CM staff team, lead the vision and strategy of the ministry, and serve on our Family Ministry Leadership Team to reach, serve and grow healthy families across campuses, our community, and online.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of substantial experience and training in Children or Family related ministry. They should be a mature Christ follower, proven developer of people (staff, parents, volunteers, lay leaders), with the ability to build trust, and make people feel welcomed and valued.

Facilities Director

We are looking for a strong, relational leader of leaders to direct the short and long-term planning and execution for all Hill Country facility needs (buildings, property, grounds, teams of people – staff and volunteers, across all campuses). They will manage the Facilities Staff Team, recruit and empower volunteers, develop lay leaders (help people take next steps), administer all construction/building projects, work closely with church staff, executives, and vendors/contractors/city officials, as well as respond to daily/weekly ministry needs, and oversee ongoing maintenance, risk management, property insurance and safety.

The ideal candidate will be a mature follower of Christ who embraces the mission and vision of Hill Country and desires to steward resources well - allowing them to be used for God’s glory and the good of His people (church and community).  5 years’ experience in a relevant field with project planning and management of multiple and complex projects along with managing a staff team is a must.

Digital Communication Specialist

God is moving in the lives of people throughout our church and community! We are looking for someone to effectively and strategically manage and grow the digital communication platforms of Hill Country (social media, website, app, etc.) to celebrate life-change and share opportunities for growth and connection.

The Digital Communication Specialist will oversee brand and messaging across all digital platforms to ensure consistency and engagement of target audiences. They will also manage website updates/best practices, analyze and report on performance of digital channels, make recommendations, and recruit, train and develop digital and social media volunteers - building a culture of collaboration and teamwork (staff, volunteers and lay leadership).

The ideal candidate will be proficient in current social media platforms with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing or communications (with at least 2 years of experience in digital marketing). They should see themselves as an owner of the mission, vision, and values of Hill Country Bible Church and become a church member within 3 months of hire, if not already a member.

Facilities Tech and Maintenance Specialist 

We are looking for a skilled technician to serve on our Facilities Team in order to support safe, functional and beautiful campuses/grounds where people can experience the love of Jesus - gathering for worship, learning, discipleship and community building.

This person will support the facility-related needs for Sunday worship services and special events (multiple venues), ongoing ministry (setting up rooms, signage, etc.), responding to work orders and maintenance needs, and engaging with volunteers – helping them use their skills/gifts for kingdom impact.

We desire a mature Christ follower who is conscience and self-motived; they should desire to grow in all areas of leadership and responsibility. The ideal employee will have general knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), trouble shooting and repair along with relevant expereince. They should be able to safely operate power and hand tools, professional vacuums, outdoor powered equipment, and more.

Custodial Night Shift 

We are looking for a custodian to serve on the Facilities Department Team of Hill Country Bible Church. This person will work the night shift and Sunday mornings – cleaning and maintaining the buildings at our Lakeline Campus to ensure they are safe, functional and beautiful.

This person should have experience in a custodial or facilities related field (commercial cleaning experience preferred), able to properly operate buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, etc., with the understanding of safe use of chemicals and cleaning products. They will need to be able to lift up to 25 lbs., walk large amounts of the property, operate heavy equipment and have demonstrated the ability to proactively self-direct  their work. We are passionate about saturating Greater Austin with the love of Jesus! Our Community Impact (CI) ministry mobilizes and equips people to serve and care for people in our community in a variety of ways.

We are looking for a relational and organized person to support our Community Impact ministry with timely communication, people engagement/recruitment (they will be an enthusiastic manager of volunteer leaders and teams), event planning, detail oversight, and administrative support to our Community Impact Pastor.

The person who serves in this role should be a mature Christ follower, committed to the mission, vision and values of Hill Country. They should have proficient computer skills, organization and event management experience (or similar), strong customer service mindset, and ability to manage their time in a fast-paced environment.
