Bringing hope when crisis comes

Support Needed for Recovery Efforts

We have been blessed to send over 340 volunteers to the field to assist with much outs and debris removal, joining in with 100s of other churches sending tens of thousands of people to assist those impacted by flood waters.  We continue to send HCBC teams and individuals to connect and serve thru ADRN.

Here’s how you can make a difference:

SERVE:  You, your family, or small group can step into a life-changing opportunity to serve.

  1. Become a Family Shepherd (1–4 Month Commitment with at least one touch point a week)

Right now, over 80 families in flood impacted areas of Williamson & Travis Counties are requesting compassion, care, and connection from a local church. Serving as a Shepherd means walking alongside a family—not to fix or solve—but to support, encourage, and build trust. Shepherds will receive up to 2 hours of online training and resources and supported as they serve as a partnership between ADRN and Hill Country Bible Church.  This role is one of the most powerful ways to share the love and hope of Christ. As a Shepherd, you serve as a missionary right here in our city, helping families navigate the journey toward healing and restoration after crisis. This opportunity allows you to step into someone’s life and walk with them—bringing presence, prayer, and hope.

  1. Provide or Donate an RV

We are currently in urgent need of six RVs to help house families who have lost their homes. If you own an RV—or know someone who does—would you consider donating it to HCBC or selling it at a discounted rate? These RVs will be used to provide immediate shelter and stability for families in transition.

   3.  Volunteer with a Disaster Response Team

Thank you to everyone who join a Hill Country team over the past 6 weeks to serve those affected by the flood.  As we sent out our last team on August 16th, you can still join ADRN teams as they have many different opportunities to serve in the field, in their air conditioned warehouse/store or headquarters.

DONATE: Your gift makes a tangible impact, offering comfort, dignity, and hope in the midst of despair. 100% of all donations will go to the disaster response and clean up efforts.

DONATE NOW

These opportunities allow you to tangibly share God’s love in a time of great need. Whether through personal presence or practical provision, your generosity and obedience could be the turning point in someone’s story.  If you’re interested in learning more or stepping in to help, we’d love to connect with you.
