Small Group Leaders
0-24 mo. Small Group Leader
You play a large part in building foundations in a child’s life. A 0-24 months Small Group Leader provides comfort and connection for children and help them experience the love of Christ from a young age. As a Small Group Leader, you win when you create a safe, loving, and caring environment for children to learn about and experience the love of Christ.
Sundays: Serve one service. Arrive 20 minutes prior to start and stay 20 minutes after
Pre-K Small Group Leader
Small Group Leaders play a large part in building foundations in a child’s life. You have an opportunity to help children know and follow Jesus, partner with families, and lead activities that engage and create memories. As a Small Group Leader, you win when you engage your group and their parents in such a way that they look forward to return to experience the love of Christ.
Sundays: Serve one service. Arrive 20 minutes prior to start and stay 20 minutes after
K-5th Grade Small Group Leader

You have an opportunity to help children know and follow Jesus, partner with families, and lead activities that engage and create memories. As a Small Group Leader, you win when you engage your group and their parents in such a way that they look forward to return to experience the love of Christ through their relationships with others.

The Room Host is a joyful, welcoming presence at the entrance to the classroom to help the family feel welcomed and confident in the care their child will receive.

Volunteer Central Host
The Volunteer Central Host provides a place for refreshment, prayer and fellowship for the Sunday morning volunteers.
K-5th Grade Worship Leader
Worship Leaders help children connect with and worship God through music on a weekly basis. You have an opportunity to help children know and follow Jesus, partner with families, and lead activities that engage and create memories. As a Worship Leader, you win when you model worship through music for the group and help children connect with God through music.

K-5th Grade Large Group Host
Large Group Leaders are a key communicator of the love of Christ. You have an opportunity to help children know and follow Jesus, partner with families, and lead activities that engage and create memories. As a Large Group Leader, you win when you engage the group through fun and effectively communicate Biblical truths in a way that children can know and follow Christ in a deeper way.

Set up/Tear Down
Set Up and Tear Down Volunteers help children connect with and worship God through creating a physical environment each week. You have an opportunity to create a space to help children know and follow Jesus and experience activities that engage and create memories. As a volunteer, you win when you create an environment that helps children know and follow Jesus, engages, and creates memories.

Greeter
Be a welcoming presence at the entrance by showing value to guests through friendly greeting. Greeters are key in that it will be one of the first “faces” that a visitor sees upon coming to Hill Country. The Greeter’s objective is to be a welcoming presence at the entrance by showing value to guests through friendly greeting.
Sundays: Arrive 20 min prior to service, stay 10 minutes into service
Usher
Make guests feel at ease by being a welcoming and helpful presence in the Worship Center as guests find their seats. Ushers play a crucial role in setting the tone as guests enter the Worship Center. The Usher’s objective is to be a welcoming and helpful presence in the Worship Center, making guests feel at home and easing any anxiety that they may have by gracefully and efficiently directing them to an optimal seating area. Ushers also assist with distributing Communion elements and collecting Offering.
Sundays: Arrive 15 min prior to service, serve during first 15 min of service, serve during last 10 minutes of service
Welcome Center Guest Host
Make guests feel valued and help create prayerfully support their connection to Christ and the church. You are key in helping us impact and win over the lives of families who are new to the area or simply new to Hill Country and are at a huge point of crossroads in their lives. Many do not know Christ and many are in the midst of making major life and faith decisions that will impact their future. Guest Hosts meet them where they are and prayerfully support their connection to Christ and the church. A Guest Host has the vital role of making guests feel valued and helps create a first-time experience that wins them over.
Sundays: Arrive 10 min before service, and return 10 min before end of service, remain at Welcome Center until 20 min after service
If visitor signed up for pre-service tour, arrive 45 min before service to start tour 25 min before service.
Unmarked Connector
Engage and welcome visitors (without wearing a name tag or lanyard which often communicates a “duty” to greet) in a natural and genuine way and prayerfully support their connection to Christ and the church. You are key in helping us impact and win over the lives of visitors. Whether they are new to the area or simply new to Hill Country, visitors arrive at our church and need to be shown value. Many do not know Christ and many are in the midst of making major life and faith decisions that will impact their future. It’s important that people without name tags or lanyards (those with a perceived “duty” to greet) also engage in welcoming these visitors. The Unmarked Connector meets them where they are in a natural and genuine way and prayerfully supports their connection to Christ and the church. This role’s objective is to create a first-time and beyond experience that values guests and wins over “the one.”
Sundays: Be walking within their zone of influence (campus high traffic area such as coffee section) 15 min before each service and 15 minutes into the service.
Lot Greeters
Lot Greeters are key in that it will be one of the first "faces" that a visitor sees upon coming to Hill Country. The Lot Greeter's objective is to be a welcoming presence in the parking lot by showing value to guests through friendly greeting.
Cart Drivers
You are key in that it very well may be one of the first "faces" that a visitor sees upon coming to Hill Country. The Cart Driver's objective is to be an outgoing, friendly face and a welcoming presence in the parking lot by showing value to guests through attentive hospitality.
Crossing Guards
You are key in that it very well may be one of the first "faces" that a visitor sees upon coming to Hill Country. The Crossing Guard's objective is to be an outgoing, friendly face and a welcoming presence at their necessary location.
