Forward in faith FAQS

What is Forward in Faith?

Forward in Faith is our bold initiative to reach every man, woman, and child in the lake area by increasing our presence in the community with a permanent building. Having purchased the last piece of available land in Steiner Ranch, we are planning to build a permanent church structure in the community to reach thousands with the gospel of Christ and provide the opportunity to experience a church family near where they live.

What is the plan?

Through One Mission, our church purchased a hilltop piece of land just off of North Quinlan Park Road. With this land, we believe that now is the time to build a facility that will move us forward in the vision to reach the lake area with the love of Christ. We plan to break ground this August.

How long is this process?

The process for this initiative to build will take three years. If you’ve committed to pray and contribute to Forward in Faith, we thank you for partnering with us. If you’re still praying through your decision or are new to Hill Country Bible Church, we encourage you to pray and consider how you can be a part of accelerating God’s mission in this area. By giving above and beyond your regular giving for the duration of this initiative, whether it’s weekly, monthly, annually, or a one-time gift, you will be a part of a bold journey that will powerfully impact our community both now and for years to come.

What will it cost?

Our goal is to raise $8.0 million.

What will we build?

Phase 1

  • 24,000 square feet of space
  • Worship center that seats 350
  • Visible campus for over 1 mile of RR 620
  • Toddler and preschool rooms and playground
  • Special needs room
  • Kinder – 3rd grade rooms and worship space
  • 4th and 5th grade room
  • Student Ministry space with future outdoor plaza
  • Multi-use rooms for Adult Ministries
  • Private staff offices and reception area
  • Kitchen and resource room
  • Outdoor plazas and lawn for activities
  • 172 parking spaces

Future Phasing

  • Additional 23,000 square feet of space
  • 650 multi-use seat auditorium
  • Large multi-use lobby with views
  • Phase 1 worship center converted to children’s worship
  • Adult Ministry space
  • Additional nursery and preschool rooms
  • Additional office and administrative space
  • 172 additional parking spaces

What will be the impact of our permanent location?

A permanent location will make church more accessible to those in Steiner Ranch and the lake area, creating opportunities for them to encounter Jesus right where they live. With over one mile of visibility from Ranch Road 620, thousands from across the area will see the church presence on their daily commute.

We’ll be able to reach the next generation. Increased and improved space to accommodate our Children’s and Students’ Ministries will allow us to better reach and connect with the next generation.

With our new space, we’ll be able to cater to the community.  Many multi-use rooms, a large lawn, and outdoor plazas will give people across our community spaces for activities and events.
