The Community Impact Ministry equips and sends the people of Hill Country Bible Church to bless our community and saturate Greater Austin with the love of Jesus. As individuals grow in their walk with God, we develop and empower them to help lead our movement of changed lives that impacts Greater Austin for Christ.

Education Connection was launched by HCBC in Naumann Elementary 16 years ago. It has grown to 72 participating churches within Christ Together Greater Austin across 18 school districts and 121 Elementary Schools.

Consider serving 30 minutes a week to read with and encourage two students thru the coming school year and be Jesus to them. You can choose to ready at any one of the 121 participating schools. In the state of Texas, 47% of all students are below grade level in reading and language arts.

Become a Literacy Partner! Last school year, more than 1,283 volunteer literacy partners and mentors served sixteen school districts across Central Texas, sitting down with 3013 elementary students each week for 30 minutes to read one-on-one. There’s a place for you to make a difference in a child’s life and education.
