PLAY A PART IN THE SUMMER OF A LIFETIME

Great Adventure is a series of summer events and activities for
everyone to grow spiritually and share the good news of
Jesus in our community and around the world!

information and student registration

Night of Prayer (All Ages)

Join us as we kickoff Great Adventure with a powerful Night of Prayer! Everyone, from all our locations, will gather to pray for all aspects of the Great Adventure including Global Outreach Mission Trips, Boot Camp, BackYard Bible Clubs, Xtreme Adventure, and SummerFest.

June 2 | 6:00-7:00pm | Worship Center | Lakeline Location

To request childcare, email [email protected].

Boot Camp (Incoming 8th Grade - Graduated Seniors)

During Boot Camp, students from incoming 8th grade to graduated seniors spend their days training to lead BackYard Bible Clubs and then lead these clubs in the evenings throughout South and Central Austin. The students learn valuable leadership and teamwork skills, while they hone their ability to effectively share the gospel. Every night after the clubs, the students come together for large group worship and teaching.

Boot Camp happens from June 23 - 28.

Registration opens April 7, 2024.

BackYard Bible Clubs (Incoming K - 4th Grade)

A BackYard Bible Club (BYBC) — a program where kids gather in someone's yard or a nearby public space — offers fun, games, and the opportunity to learn about Jesus. The kids hear about God and the Bible in an engaging, interactive environment, where many kids come to know Jesus for the first time! No registration necessary; simply show up.

At the end of the week, we celebrate with SummerFest, happening at our Lakeline Location.

BYBCs happen every day from July 8 - 11.

Special Needs Family Camp

Special Needs Family Camp, designed for individuals with all abilities, include learning about Jesus through creative storytelling, engaging worship, and interactive play.

There is also a siblings camp for the siblings of our special needs friends, and a  parent/caretaker camp designed for those that care for special needs' individuals.

Special Needs Family Camp happens every day from July 8 - 11.

Xtreme Adventure (Incoming 5th - 7th Graders)

Xtreme Adventure (XA) offers students a fun-filled, high-energy morning of worship and small group time, as they grow in relationship with one another, their leaders, and most importantly Jesus! Incoming 5th, 6th, and 7th graders (2024-2025 school year) can attend XA.

Four teams of students compete throughout the week to earn points through wild games, exciting competitions, fun memory verse challenges, and more! The week concludes with an event — Final Battle — where one team is named the "winner" of the week.

We highly encourage students to invite at least one friend to join them at XA 2024, as it's a great opportunity to learn about Jesus while having a great time

The cost per student is $50.

XA is hosted at the Lakeline location.

July 8 - 11 | 9am-12:15pm

Registration opens April 7, 2024.

SummerFest - All Ages

SummerFest is a fun, free, community-wide event that marks the end of the week of BackYard Bible Clubs, Special Need Family Camps, and Xtreme Adventure. SummerFest features booths and activities organized by host homes, small groups, and ministry leaders, and a great time for all!
