The Art of Parenting

Aiming Your Child’s Heart Toward God

In this new video series from FamilyLife, Dennis and Barbara Rainey will help you to experience God’s truth and apply his Word in your family in these four crucial elements in your children’s lives that will establish a foundation they can build upon for the rest of their lives:
1. Identity–understanding who they are in Christ
2. Character–learning to live wisely and honorably
3. Relationships–fostering godly connections with others
4. Mission–understanding why they are here

Smart Money Smart Kids
Money … it’s become: a leading cause of divorce, an idol for many and today 60% of 20- to 30-year old’s are still dependent on their parents for it. It shouldn’t be surprising that it is one of the most discussed topics in the Bible. Starting with the basics, we’ll discuss Dave Ramsey’s and Rachel Cruze’s no-nonsense, common-sense approach to teaching kids about money.

New Series Beginning September 9: Raising Teens in a Contrary Culture
Understanding the influences a teen must deal with today calls for a new way of parental engagement and a shift in parenting styles. The biggest challenge a parent faces is learning how to transfer the principles and values they hold dear, to their teen who is growing up in a contrary culture. Parents are frustrated with how to make an impact, and teens are equally unsatisfied and disappointed that they’re not learning the necessary skills to make it in today’s world.

In this new video study, Mark Gregston shares his wisdom gained from forty years of working and living with teens and helping their families. Join us as we learn together how to develop a deeper relationship with our teens and tweens.
