Praise and Volunteer Update

After the destruction from Hurricane Harvey impacted so many families along the Texas Gulf Coast, we saw God move in mighty ways through the response of His people. We are truly thankful for all who served on disaster relief teams, coordinated relief efforts, donated materials, gave financially and more.

HCBC’s Disaster Response:

  • 54 Disaster Relief Teams
  • 444 Trip Volunteers
  • 7,580 Trip Volunteer Hours
  • 160+ Families Served
  • 109 Donation Drive Volunteers
  • 11 Core Team Volunteers and Staff
  • $175K in financial assistance

In addition, you are invited to connect with Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN), a network of Christ-centered churches in the Austin area that is providing assistance in the gulf coast region. HCBC is continuing to support this critical work by providing workers and other resources through ADRN.
