Lakeline Campus Pastor – Job Description

We are looking for a highly relational, strategic and visionary leader to serve as our Lakeline Campus Pastor, under the direction of our Lead Pastor, Tim Hawks. This person will serve as the primary vision caster for the campus and ensure the Lakeline community is saturated with the love of Jesus – giving every man, woman and child multiple opportunities to see, hear and respond to the gospel.

Our Campus Pastor will lead staff and ministries toward the successful implementation of our over-arching church goals as we live out “one church in multiple locations.”

The Lakeline Campus is our original and largest Campus, located in beautiful northwest Austin, near Cedar Park.

Strong communication skills (will serve on our teaching team in collaboration with our Lead Pastor, Tim Hawks), effective leadership and development of people (staff, lay leaders, volunteers, etc.) and personal evangelism are musts.

Strategic Ministries Pastor – Job Description

Our Strategic Ministries Pastor will lead staff and ministry teams towards greater impact in reaching people with the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ.

Strategic Ministries are the specialized ministries of the church that reach people uniquely (in our congregation and community) – they are customized for the specific needs of each campus, since every campus has a slightly different focus or approach, while being united in vision and purpose. Strategic ministries include Men’s, Women’s, Marriage, Young Adults, Global Outreach, etc.

The person who serves in this role will work closely with our Executive Team to accomplish strategic plans and church goals. They will shepherd staff, manage Ministry Action Plan (MAP) activities, and work with campus pastors as we live out “one church in multiple locations.”

This person should be highly relational while possessing gifts of administration, leadership and shepherding. The ideal candidate will have a vibrant walk with Christ, passion for the local church, a strategic mind with proven and effective leadership development experience.

Small Groups Lead Pastor – Job Description

We are passionate about people experiencing life-changing, Small Group community – where they CONNECT relationally, GROW spiritually, and BLESS those who don’t yet know Jesus Christ.  

We are looking for a highly relational and strategic leader to advance this vital, core ministry. This person will communicate the vision of Small Groups in all settings (large and small); they will identify, develop, and deploy people in the ministry, effectively manage a staff team, build a strong lay-leadership team, and partner and collaborate with pastors, directors, and leaders across all ministries and campuses.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years in Small Group ministry with proven strength in leadership development –displaying the ability to disciple, coach and develop leaders. They should have passion for life-transforming Small Group community along with a strategic thought process that can identify effective solutions and envision and execute growth in a large, matrixed organization. Executive Project Manager and Administrative Specialist – Job Description

We are looking for a spiritually mature and strong project manager with gifts in administration to serve as our Executive Project Manager to our Lead Pastor.

This person will ensure the Lead Pastor and Executive Team are accomplishing responsibilities that advance church goals while facilitating the movement of people and alignment of projects to support the vision of Hill Country Bible Church. They will create and execute project management processes that moves ideas, information and projects to clear, deliverable outcomes. They will also identify and engage volunteers, raise up lay leaders and provide some administrative support.

The ideal candidate will have excellent relational and communication skills and a vibrant walk with Jesus Christ. Experience and proven ability managing projects, people and initiatives is required.

Steiner Ranch Campus Worship Pastor – Job Description

We are looking for a passionate worship leader who loves God and loves people. This person will serve at the Pastor/Director level on our overall staff team and will partner with their Campus Pastor in accomplishing the vision to saturate their geography with the love of Jesus.

The Campus Worship Pastor will ensure that worship services glorify God – they are biblical, meaningful and transcendent. They will activate participation and a response in people to worship and thank God for who He is and all He’s done. They will lock arms with the Campus Pastor in ministering to people throughout the week and will collaborate with all our worship pastors (all campuses) as part of the overall worship ministry and staff team in living out “one church in multiple locations.”

They will be responsible to identify, develop and deploy volunteers, lead a modern worship band (musicians and vocalists) and own the planning and execution of weekend services and special events at their campus. This person will be a key leader, vocalist and communicator in worship services aimed at connecting people to God in life-changing worship that impacts daily, missional living.

Video Producer – Job Description

Do you have a passion for using your videography, production, communication and creative skills to make a difference in the lives of people in greater Austin? If so, we’d love to connect with you!

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment while being creative and intentional with their approach to video production. This person should have a knowledge of numerous filming and story-telling styles and techniques to use in multiple situations and applications in order to communicate and advance the vision of HCBC through all aspects of video production.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years’ experience as a videographer and the ability to work in a team environment on multiple projects at once. They should also be a relationally strong, spiritually mature follower of Christ.

Custodial SupervisorJob Description

We are looking for an experienced commercial cleaning expert and manager to supervise custodial staff to clean and maintain our Lakeline Campus facility. The ideal candidate will be a mature follower of Jesus Christ who is knowledgeable in all principles and best practices for commercial cleaning. They need to have proven ability to lead a successful custodial crew, including spiritual development, teamwork, training, scheduling, cleaning, chemical, equipment and safety procedures, purchasing of supplies, and more. This person should also be bi-lingual (Spanish and English) with high integrity, good communication and computer skills and the ability to assess needs and accomplish results in a fast-paced environment. Custodian – Night Shift – Job Description

We are looking for a mature follower of Jesus Christ to serve on our night custodial crew. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, and be familiar with all aspects of cleaning. Childcare Workers – We are looking for responsible, mature and loving individuals to serve as paid childcare workers during our Women’s Bible Study on Thursday mornings beginning September 8. Future Opportunities and Positions

As God continues to expand the reach of our ministry, we will continue to launch multi-site campuses. With every new campus, we are still one church in multiple locations, but these campuses can provide a focused approach in meeting the needs of these communities along with sharing the good news of the gospel and having a central, neighborhood location to gather and worship on the weekends. We believe that campuses will accelerate our vision of reaching every man, woman and child in Greater Austin with the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ. Some of our staff openings will be part time and others full time, but we anticipate filling the following roles:

Children’s Ministry Campus Coordinator – Oversees all aspects of Children’s Ministry at the campus; recruits, trains and shepherds volunteers, works with the Lakeline Campus CM team for a unified scope and sequence that can be effectively implemented at their campus.

Campus Administrative Coordinator – Supports the campus pastor and volunteers; equips others and owns details in executing weekend services, leads the communication, scheduling and other coordination functions throughout the week.

Technical Coordinator – Owns all technical support (sound, lights, media, set up, etc.) for weekend services and special events throughout the week, recruits and trains volunteers.
