Daily assignments: 2013 Reading Plan

Our prayer is that the journey will help you develop a habit of spending time in God's Word and that you'll experience the joy of walking with Him on a daily basis. We look forward to taking this journey with you!

This website will provide you with a daily reading assignment (approximately one chapter a day Monday through Friday). Also, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss what you are reading with other people.

  • If you would like to be part of this exciting journey by writing a short devotional on a passage that will be assigned to you, just contact Cathy at cdaniel@hcbc.com.
  • If you have already signed up but are not receiving your e-mails, or you are experiencing other technical difficulties, contact Cathy at cdaniel@hcbc.com.

Comment on Devotional - We’d like to know what you are thinking and experiencing as we read through the Word together. It’s easy to do: by clicking on the “Comment on this Chapter” link from the daily devotional page, you can post or read comments by your fellow travelers.

Quick Links to Daily Bible Passage - Each Journey devotional also includes a link to the Bible passage for that day. Be sure to read the complete daily Bible passage before you begin reading the devotional. Reading God’s Word is the most important part of the Journey!
