Cedar Park Police Department - Police Chaplains and Victim Services volunteers serve the needs of victims, witnesses and/or their families during traumatic events. Provides on scene crisis intervention and resource referrals. Contact Doug James, cedarparktx.us
Prison Fellowship - A ministry that partners with local churches to provide spiritual mentoring to individuals and families affected by incarceration. Our team works with the Bartlett State Jail. Contact Rob Parkhurst
Nineveh - Meets with students in local juvenile detention facilities to pray and equip them with the gospel and mentor them upon release. Contact Chris Haskins, ninevehministries.com
Kairos - Provides emotional and spiritual support to prison inmates through weekend events and ongoing support. (Locations: Hondo, Dilley and Gatesville, TX) Contact Ed and Bettye Keefer, kairosoftexas.org
Texas Reach Out Ministry - Assists men and women with the life transition from prison back into the community using a Christ-centered focus. Mentors needed for local bible studies. Contact Garland Cole, texasreachout.org
Bill Glass Champions for Life - A prison ministry that reaches out to inmates during single day and weekend events. Contact Garland Cole, billglasscfl.org
Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN) - HCBC, partnering with ADRN, coordinates with local churches, the Red Cross, government agencies and business leaders to serve Greater Austin in the event of a disaster. Training is provided to prepare individuals to be first responders in the time of crisis as well as personal readiness. Click here to learn more about HCBC's current involvement. Feed the City - HCBC NW provides a Christmas appreciation meal to all Cedar Park employees annually to foster our ongoing partnership with the city and invite them to our Christmas Eve services. This years' event will be the 2nd week of December. Volunteers are needed for greeting. Contact Tom Laws
