Education Connection - Participate in a city-wide effort for every child reading by the end of third grade through tutoring/mentoring elementary age children. Contact Claudia Williams, hcbc.com/education
Wilco Mentoring - HCBC NW partners with Williamson County to provide mentors for students assigned by the court. Model the love and hope of Jesus Christ through a personal relationship to achieve agreed upon goals. Contact John Vargus
WATCH D.O.G.S - Fathers and father-figures who volunteer at schools to read, mentor, help with security and sometimes just play at recess. Commitment ranges from a few hours to as many days a year as your schedule allows. Contact Randy Wedlund, fathers.com

Feed LISD - HCBC NW provides a Christmas appreciation meal to LISD's administrative employees annually to foster our ongoing partnership with the school district and invite them to our Christmas Eve services. This years' event will be the 2nd week of December. Volunteers are needed for greeting. Contact Tom Laws
Backpack Attack - HCBC NW, HCBC Leander, For the Children and local businesses partner with LISD annually to provide school supplies and backpacks for elementary students on the free and reduced lunch program. This years' event will be August 10 and 11, 2012. Volunteers are needed for event coordination and event day. Contact Cindy Sherman
