Are you ready to step into a leadership role in the Great Adventure by leading a group of peers? Download an information packet here. It’s got all the dates, deadlines and memory verses you’ll need. Here’s an overview of the captain selection process:

  • Download, read and understand the information in the packet.
  • Complete an application by February 19. Applications are provided in the link below.
  • Attend an interview on February 26 or March 5.
  • Register for Captains’ Camp & Boot Camp (registration opens March 12)
  • Attend Captains’ Camp

Captains’ Camp

At Captain’s Camp, you’ll get to know other captains, learn how to be a more effective leader, worship, and have fun while doing it all! Captains’ Camp is for current high school students who have completed an application and interview process and been notified of their captain or protege status.

Time: 6:00 pm on Friday, April 7 – 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 8

Place: HCBC Austin, Lakeline Campus. Check in at the cafe


  • Bible
  • Sleeping bag and pillow. We will be sleeping over at the church, on the floor. Bring an air mattress, but no ENO’s.
  • Clothes to change into on Saturday
  • Toiletries. No showers are available, so come clean!
  • Snacks (optional)
