Childcare

Many events held at Hill Country Bible Church include childcare. Our staff of caregivers are trained to provide a safe, secure, and loving environment, and to teach your child that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. Through simple, but carefully considered guidelines, we are able to maximize the safety and learning potential for children in our care. Please contact us with any questions.

Health Concerns

If your child is sick, he or she will be more comfortable and well off at home. We ask that you do not expose other children unnecessarily to any illness. A child should not be placed with other children if any of the following exists:

  • A fever, currently or within the previous 24 hours
  • Vomiting or diarrhea within the previous 24 hours
  • Runny nose (anything other than clear)
  • Any unexplained rash
  • Sore throat
  • Croup
  • Any skin infection
  • Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye) or other eye infection

The health and wellbeing of your child is of the utmost importance to us, so we take extra preventative precautions by cleaning thoroughly on a regular basis. Crib sheets are changed and washed after each use. Toys, beds, and equipment are cleaned with an antiseptic solution. Blankets and burp cloths are washed after each use. All toys are carefully selected to minimize any chance of injury.

Special Needs or Food Allergies

Awareness of any special needs or food allergies is very important to your child’s caregivers. To minimize the risk of reactions, a simple snack and water are served in all of our older nurseries, preschool, and elementary classes. Our teachers may not administer any medications to your child.
