Childcare Reservation
We believe that children are precious to God! But children are also vulnerable. Because of these two facts, we have an obligation to provide the safest, most secure and loving environment possible. We follow simple, reasonable guidelines to maximize the safety of the children in our care. Knowledge of these guidelines are important for you as a parent. This page outlines these guidelines and other important information that will help us minister more effectively to you and your child.
We would love to answer any questions which may arise. Please contact us with any concerns you have.

Health Concerns
If your child is sick, he or she will be more comfortable at home. Please do not expose other children unnecessarily. A child should not be placed with other children if any of the following exists:
- A fever currently, or within the previous 24 hours
- Vomiting or diarrhea within the previous 24 hours
- Runny nose (anything other than clear)
- Any unexplained rash
- Sore throat
- Croup
- Any skin infection
- Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye) or other eye infection
The health and well-being of your children is of utmost importance to us. Each room is cleaned thoroughly on a regular basis. Crib sheets are changed and washed after each use. Toys, beds, and equipment are cleaned with an antiseptic solution. Blankets and burp cloths are washed after each use. All toys used in child care are carefully selected in order to minimize any chance of injury.
Special Needs or Food Allergies
Awareness of any special needs or food allergies is very important to your child’s caregivers. To minimize the risk of reactions, a simple snack and water is served in all of our older nurseries, preschool, and elementary classes. Our teachers may not dispense any medications to your child.
Sign-In Procedure
Parents must bring each child to their classroom. When dropping off your child in his/her room, you will be given a security wristband for your child. There are two parts, each part having a matching number. The wristband goes on your child and the tab part is for you to keep with you as identification. You MUST show your part of the wristband in order for us to be able to release your child to you at the end of the event. Another part of the sign-in procedures is the parent sign-in sheet. This sheet allows us to know where you are in case your child needs you so that we may readily come and get you. It also gives us a record of attendance for each person in the classroom for the event.
Locating Parents
The number on the wristband will be used to page you if your child needs you. If you are in the Worship Center, the number will be flashed on the LED display boards that are located on either side of the stage. If you are in a ministry meeting or taking a class, we will come and get you from the meeting or class.
Release Policy
In order for a child to be released, the parent must show their part of the wristband and the number is matched to the number on the child’s wristband. If the parent does not have their part of the wristband, the parent must have the approval of the Team Leader of the event before their child can be released.
Please note that children may not be signed in or released to siblings younger than 13.
Additional Tips
- Personal toys and electronics should be left at home.
- In the nursery, bottles are given per your instructions. Formula must be pre-mixed or pre-measured by the parent and baby food cannot be served by our teachers.
- For sanitary reasons, disposable diapers should be used while at church.
- While potty training, please bring a change of clothing and consider using pull-ups at church.
- We ask that parents pick up their children immediately at the close of the event.
- Remember that teachers will release children only to a parent with the security tag that matches the child’s name tag.
Please label all of your child’s belongings—bottles, blankets, pacifiers, sippy cups, etc. with your child’s name.
