At Hill Country Bible Church, we believe that every man, woman, and child in Greater Austin should have the chance to experience the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ.
How will we reach 1.7 million people?
By equipping disciplemakers that we send into the harvest to plant multiplying churches in strategic locations and by partnering with people in like-minded ministries.
Since our founding, we have planted 22 churches in the greater Austin area, and we continue to train leaders in the pursuit of planting many more churches.
Ultimately, we believe that if 10% of the city is engaged in a spiritually vibrant Hill Country Bible Church, our vision will become a reality in our lifetime.
So what is the difference between a church plant and a multi-site campus?
A church plant is an increasingly autonomous community that begins as a daughter church and matures to a sister church as it achieves certain criteria. A church plant has been sent to an unreached area to both declare and demonstrate the gospel. In their strategy and structure, church plants are unique to their specific contexts and will have their own elder board and leadership teams.
A campus is an extension of the Hill Country Bible Church purpose, vision, and values --as well as strategy and structure--existing in a different geographical location. It is governed by a common elder board, and functions under clearly defined “campus constants” that maintain consistency between campuses.
We currently have two campuses in Austin. Check out our websites for more specific information on each campus.
