EMERGING LEADERS

What is an Emerging Leader?

Our residents come to us from all over the United States. This is a 12-month residency that exposes young leaders to ministry on a church staff as well as a number of learning experiences designed to develop a lifelong missional worldview. Residents serve in ministry on the HCBC staff while also engaging in shared learning experiences and community outreach.

This experience is uniquely designed to both grow young leaders and allow them to thrive to develop and lead missional outreach efforts and new initiatives. Through the course of the residency, each EL will have the privilege of being mentored by staff and lay leaders. Our prayer is that this experience will develop these young Christ followers into effective mentors and leaders in any type of setting.
